Word formatting – Align left, center, and right in same line

1. Make sure you can see the ruler at the top of the page
2. Click in the ruler to place a tab marker and then drag it over to the right hand side of your page.
3. Now double click on the marker and change the alignment to right.
4. Now when you press TAB while typing on that line, instead of just indenting your text a bit, you can type text aligned to the right of the page.

You can edit footnote seperators in Draft view.

First, click on Draft, which is at the lower right corner.
Go to the References tab and click on Show Notes.
In the new window that appears below, open the drop-down menu labeled Footnotes and choose Footnote Separator.
Now you can highlight the separator in the textbox below and align it to the right just like normal text. Right CTRL + SHIFT is the shortcut I believe.
Now go back to Print Layout view and you should see the changes.
