I use Entourage for my email accounts but I keep getting a pop up saying
"translate wants to use your confidential information stored in "[my email account]" in your keychain.
Do you want to allow access to this item?"
By always allowing I found the location through keychain – /usr/libexec/oah/translate but I can't locate it through finder.
I am worried that this might be malware, does anyone know what it is?
Open Keychain Access, which can be found in /Applications/Utilities.
Then select Keychain First Aid under Keychain Access.
Enter your password and click to Verify (this is important to find out how is making the problem just in case it comes up again).
If it shows Errors use the Repair function.
In my case it looked like this before the repair.
It found one error and it was fixed after the repair.
That is many questions all in one. In order to manage our search engine, we prefer to have 1 question at the time.
1) I'd prefer Chrome to save the credentials in its own storage, instead sharing one with Safari. 2) If not, I'd rather it to not ask me about that. 3) Failing that, it should at least give me the right credentials.
To prevent the pop up is done with granting the Access Control in the key-chain.
Here is a sample:
Open the relevant key chain item and click on access control.
Add and allow Google Chrome to use it.

It looks like
/usr/libexec/oah/translateis Rosetta, an Apple program to allow programs developed for PowerPC architecture to run on the newest Intel Mac.So I don't think it's a malware, just Mac OS using Rosetta to run Entourage.
