I get a dialog with answer choices "Always allow | Deny | Allow" and text of Safari Security wants to use your confidential information stored in "Safari Extensions List" in your keychain.
What is the purpose of the question?
I need a little help in understanding the source of the question and its intended purpose
That is many questions all in one. In order to manage our search engine, we prefer to have 1 question at the time.
1) I'd prefer Chrome to save the credentials in its own storage, instead sharing one with Safari. 2) If not, I'd rather it to not ask me about that. 3) Failing that, it should at least give me the right credentials.
To prevent the pop up is done with granting the Access Control in the key-chain.
Here is a sample:
Open the relevant key chain item and click on access control.
Add and allow Google Chrome to use it.
Open /Applications/Utilities/Keychain Access.app, search for message, which in my case came up with two keys that I deleted. This required Administrator rights, though.
Probably because I trashed some of my preferences. I can live with that for the time being as it is not in my face every ten seconds.

All your credentials are encrypted and stored using Keychain (e.g.
~/Library/Keychains/). It provides secure storage of your passwords, keys, certificates and other private data.To prevent unauthorized access to your credentials by 3rd party application, each time when keychain file is accessed, it asks for user permission to access his sensitive data.
If it wouldn't ask you each time, then any application (e.g. Safari plugin) or hacker could access your keychain file and steal all your passwords without your knowledge by a single command.
