Web Apps can now integrate with Ubuntu.
It would be quite neat to add web apps to the software center. For example if someone searches for a chat application in the software center it would be nice to also offer web app chat clients.
Does the Ubuntu Team plan to do so?
If yes, in the near future?
I live in India and I've set my update server to default ubuntu server. This is how it looks :
Try changing your update server and see if that helps. I've found that the IIT-M server (which I used for a bit) is heavily behind. However, I haven't gone back to it and have relied on the main servers since then.
Ubuntu Software Center can be launched with a package name:
software-center chromium-browser
which displays the 'Write your own review' action, but you usually have to scroll to see it.
If you'd like to be able to display your own review form and submit via the ratings and reviews API, you can do so with the submit_review API call, but it'll require an authenticated API call... see "Making authenticated API calls" at:

It appears that several web apps are now available to install directly from Ubuntu's repositories, using either
apt-get installor the Ubuntu Software Center.To install all currently available web apps, you can simply use the following command:
