Windows 8 – How to Browse the Windows App Store Outside of Windows 8

If you open the app link from Internet explorer, there's an option to view the app in Windows Store.

The same, however, is absent in Google Chrome.

So right now, the way to go about this is to search(on Google?) using Internet Explorer and then use the View in Windows Store option - no real alternative.

You can do a wildcard search to browse them all in the store, this is kind of a workaround that I just stumbled on while messing around.

Edit: It looks like you can use a few different characters, for example:

*, # and %
