I'm using a window snapping/resizing app and this feature above, introduced in El Capitan, is being triggered instead. This when I snap a window to the center top of the screen.
Is there a way to turn this feature off?
Based on mjmt's excellent info, here's how to globally disable resizing (tested in 10.7.4):
defaults write -globalDomain AppleEdgeResizing NO
Log out and log back into your account (or quit every single app) to see changes take effect.
You can't get one window of an app to follow you to all Spaces - but you can, if you have shortcut keys setup to swap Spaces, grab the menu bar of the required window, hit the shortcut & 'take it with you' to the new Space.
If you don't have it set up already, System Prefs > Keyboard > Shortcuts…
One thing to note - if you do that with Finder windows, it can break the 'click desktop to go back to Space 1' functionality, til you relaunch the Finder.
