In iOS 11, I can't disable Bluetooth or Wi-Fi using the redesigned Control Center. It disconnects from any Bluetooth/Wi-Fi devices but the radios are still on, draining battery. It also doesn't disable AirDrop either. If I disable Bluetooth or Wi-Fi using settings this shows:

As of March 2012 there doesn't seem to be a real presenter app for the iPhone, which supports the Trust Wireless Remote Control (or generic bluetooth remotes, that do work with music apps) and offers VGA-out.
I really hoped I didn't search thoroughly enough but it seems such an app has yet to be made - and I bet it would sell well.
So, if anyone happens to find such an app for the iPhone or something that supports QuickTime movies with manual advance: please post it here and I'm gonna reward a bounty of ≥150 points.
The best way to go till then: Use a collection of pictures in slideshow mode of the "Photos" app (supports both VGA-out and bluetooth remotes)
AirDropAirDrop for iOS is similar to the OS X counterpart. It allows you to share files over WiFi1 to nearby devices, such as photos, contacts or Passbook passes/tickets.
The 'Contacts Only' setting requires that you be logged in to your iCloud account, and you must have the sending device's Apple ID in your contacts.
The receiving device must accept a share, similar to OS X. A popup notification will appear when someone attempts to send you something.

Sending a photo or a document to someone via text or email is fine. But if that someone is right next to you, a text or an email suddenly feels like too many steps. Enter AirDrop for iOS. It lets you quickly and easily share photos, videos, contacts — and anything else from any app with a Share button. Just tap Share, then select the person you want to share with. AirDrop does the rest using Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. No setup required. And transfers are encrypted, so what you share is highly secure.

You could try using a launcher app to automate this step. I know that Apple put in some restrictions on launching these, but there's one claiming to allow "easy access to settings" and it works on my iPhone.
The top two lines give you access to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. You could add them to the Notification Centre.
