Is there a way to find which program uses the keyboard to input stuff?
Why I am asking this question is because my laptop (MacBook Pro) keeps inputting 0 key, my lap works fine after 5 mins from login and this happens all the time, I tried to run a command that disables the keypad but, it doesn't solve the problem, so I concluded that this was a virus, so please help me on this.
It is called Projective, with Unicode U+2305, and it represents Enter which is different to Carriage Return, represented with a ↩.
Although most of the time they work in the same way, there is a difference between Enter and Carriage Return. While Enter, in most cases, will make a GUI object operate at its default function, the Carriage Return is meant to reset the user's position to the beginning of the line of a text.
Just doing fn+Return should trigger it.
On the short keyboards you'll either find the name or the icon.
It’s Vim, feel free to remap anything to anything you want.
To detect what you numpad + sends to Vim press C-v then + on numpad – you will see something like
^[Ok
^[ is escape, so you may command your Vim
:map "<esc>Ok "+
Now it should work as expected by you.
However, it would be better to do this kind of mappings not in Vim but in your terminal emulator (which you have not mentioned) by two reasons:
:map <esc>Ok + but it won’t affect "<esc>Ok.<esc>Ok to something will add a delay in processing single <esc> press (see :h timeoutlen).
