Automator service to extract file and delete parent

I am trying to create an automator service to take the selected folders in Finder and search each of them for movie files, move those movie files to a certain directory and then move the original folder to trash. However I have no experience and keep getting stuck!

Up the top of the automator window I have selected this:

I then thought the best thing to do would be to use the "Get Folder Contents" action and run some sort of bash script on each file.

But what would I put in the script? I don't know how to write bash scripts. I was thinking something along the lines of:

for each directory
for each file in the directory
if the file is a movie
move the file to this directory "path"
move the parent directory to trash

I don't know if I should select "Pass input as arguments" or "as stdin". Either way I don't know how to work with them.

Can anyone give me a bit of help with this script?

Add open "${1%.*}".jad on a new line at the end of the script. If you want to open it in a specific application (not the default), change it to open -a "Some Application" "${1%.*}".jad

The $1 is the first argument passed to a script, which in this case is the file path. the ${1%.*} strips the extension (i.e. /Users/you/MyClass.class becomes /Users/you/MyClass), and then .jad is appended, so you get the full path of the new file.

This is possible by selecting the second window to get the selection.

Insert the "Run AppleScript" action at the first position in the workflow, clear all text in the action, and put this script in the action:

on run {input, parameters}
    tell application "Finder"
        activate -- doesn't work without the activate
        open target of Finder window 2 ---  select the second Finder window
        set end of input to (item 1 of (get selection)) as alias -- append the selection (in the second window) to the input list
        open target of Finder window 2
    end tell
    return input
end run

Tested on Mavericks
