I changed some window manager shortcuts through Window Manager>>Keyboard and Keyboard>>Shortcuts. Now, as it happens these changes take effect only on the account where they were set (I'm using Xfce 4.10).
So the question is how to propagate them to all other user accounts? OR how to set them globally and not on per user account manner in the first place?
I asked a similar question once. It is definitely a good idea if you find yourself ignoring the miscellaneous tools and features that come with the desktop environment.
The solution is, you don't need to install a desktop environment (or anything you don't use), just a window manager of your choice. I (also) asked another question about lightweight window managers. The summary is, if you want lots of effects go Compiz, otherwise choose a lightweight one like dwm.
Regarding Nautilus, do you really need it or some of it features? If not then you should probably switch to something else, maybe Thunar.

In Window Manager configuration, find the keyboard part, look for Window operations menu, and then hit on Clear button, which will remove that shortcut key, effects immedately

Thx to answer to this question: Cannot change global keyboard shortcuts in Linux Mint XFCE I found quite an easy way to propagate all made changes to other user accounts on a system.
Just copy your local configuration file named xfce4-keyboard-shortcuts.xml (located here: ~/.config/xfce4/xfconf/xfce-perchannel-xml/) over the same file in other accounts. Job done.
