How to configure mutt to display the replies within threads

While mutt has set sort = threads to show threaded, "conversation" style messages, it doesn't display one's own replies in the threads. Instead, you have to change to the Sent folder to see your own messages. Is there any way to display one's own replies where they belong inside threads?

I found a solution that works for me even though it is not pretty.

set record = "+INBOX"

I just set record to my inbox, in that way the messages get threaded. It might not be ideal when I am the first sending an e-mail, but normally I will get an answer, so no issue.

If I understand you correctly, you're reversed the sorting of threads but you meant to reverse the sorting within threads, so swap them:

set sort=reverse-threads
set sort_aux=date-received

I think Mutt always displays the thread title on the oldest message in the thread, even when it ends up sorted at the bottom.

The link that SEoF provided was a great suggestion. The blog post is incomplete, in my opinion, but it did get me started on the right track. I did some more digging and came up with a complete list of steps for getting Office 365 to send me meeting invites in iCalendar (.ics) format.

Note that I'm not an administrator and I didn't need to contact anyone to give me any privileges. The only caveat is that you need access to a Windows box. Once you change the settings via Windows, you can go back to using whatever OS you were using before. I did the following on my own as a normal user using Windows 7:

Download and install Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5 from http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30653.
Download and install Windows Management Framework 4.0 (Windows6.1-KB2819745-x64-MultiPkg.msu) from http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=40855.
Run PowerShell as an administrator.
