Ubuntu – Skype no longer recognises camera

I'm using Ubuntu 16.04 and I've just updated Skype. The microphone of my Logitech C615 webcam still works. The camera still works in Cheese and guvcview, but is no longer recognized in Skype

I just had the same problem. I used sudo modprobe uvcvideo to reconnect/reinitialize (?) the camera.

I bought the cammera.
Let me give you an update. Everyone of thinking of buying this camera on Linux should do so. This is the best thing I've ever seen, full HD 1920x1080 works perfectly 30fps with guvcview. Picture quality is amazing, all working out of the box, just plug and play.
UPDATE:
Camera works fine on LTS 12.04.

UPDATE2: Camera works fine on 12.10.

Try with Installing common Web Cam driver packages in Ubuntu

sudo apt-get install build-essential linux-headers-`uname -r`
