Ubuntu – Map is not full screen in Google Earth Pro

I have installed Google Earth Pro 7.3.0.3830 (64-bit) on my Ubuntu 16.04 LTS.

When I launch Google Earth Pro, map is shown in very small window. I have un-installed and re-installed but the problem is as it is.

Happened to me too, Its a graphics driver problem. It does not work on X.org nouveau graphics driver. More on it here. So you can uninstall the present version 7.3 and install 7.1 version from here.

To install Google Earth copy and paste the following command in the Terminal Window.

sudo apt-get install lsb-core

Google Earth 6.2 Latest Upgraded Version:

Download Google Earth 6.2 from here

Select either: 32 bit .deb (For Debian/Ubuntu) or 64 bit .deb (For Debian/Ubuntu)

depending on your PC architecture and install in Software Center.

I dont see any mention in your question or subsequent answer about ia32-libs. Have you installed this. You need this for 64bit also.

Install lsb in full not just only the core. Use the Synaptic Package Manager and search for lsb, click lsb, install, apply, leave package manager
