I open an excel file containing a macro in LibreOffice cal, then my LibreOffice was hanged for while. So, I decide to force end its process by issued command ps aux | grep libreoffice, kill 3401 -f to force close application.
However, on next open, my LibreOffice toolbar icons were all blank like this:
As I use office document often, it makes me have a hard time formatting my document.

Update manager, today updated LO to 3.5 also here (Ubuntu 11.04). As I was using same icon theme I noticed same issue.
Just copying faenza archive over /usr/share/libreoffice/share/config/images_crystal.zip was not enough. Comparing icon theme archives from LO 3.5 with faenza set, revealed two possible misplacements:
res/commanimagelist -> cmd
vlc/source/src -> vlc/res
I expect that first one was responsible for this issues, although I changed both: download link (3.6 MB)
So after downloading this archive place it as /usr/share/libreoffice/share/config/images_crystal.zip and then setting view to crystal should show faenza icons again :)
This is not an Ubuntu question per se, but might be something new users may struggle with. In principle Excel macros only run in Excel, the language was not conceived to be portable. Here's what, for instance, the LibreOffice help says about it:
With a few exceptions, Microsoft Office and LibreOffice cannot run the same macro code. Microsoft Office uses VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) code, and LibreOffice uses Basic code based on the LibreOffice API (Application Program Interface) environment. Although the programming language is the same, the objects and methods are different.
In essence if you want a portable programme you should program on a portable platform. I'd say you have two options:

Then Open LibreOffice Writer (or Calc etc.) and see if the icons are visible now. If not, try selecting another "Icon style" following the steps above.
