The multisession function works for CDs, but not for DVDs.
There is no option to add files after creating a Multisession DVD. Why is it not possible to create a multisession DVD with brasero?

That's right. Brasero does not make DVDs. However there are many tools around that work fine. I'd recommend DeVeDe (see multiverse) for easy doing so. Or, alternatively any other video authoring software.
File and disk image integrity are checked by default in a standard installation of Brasero by comparing an MD5 sum of burned data with the original file.
To change these settings, select Edit -> Plugins to open the following window:
By selecting Configure we can change the hashing algortihm for the checksum from MD5 (default) to SHA1 or SHA256. Unticking the tick box next to a plugin disables checksum generation to speed up the burning process (at the cost of security).
Data integrity can further be checked with Tools -> Check Integrity where we are able to select a disc from a list of mounted disks. There we may also import an MD5 file for data comparison.

When burning it there is an option called Leave the disc open to add other files later
Click on Properties And the following Windows will appear:
Other users have reported that turning on DAO in Edit > Modules > growisofs > Settings also helped.
Lastly it also depends on the DVD Recorded you are using. Some models have been known to create this problem. Changing the unit helped.
