Whenever I am opening Chrome I am redirected to demo.opera-mini.net/public/ page. I google it and found most solutions related to registry config edit to remove it from Windows environment as they are saying its malware. How do I remove the same from my Google Chrome in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS.

For me, the solution was to remove my Facebook account from the Ubuntu settings. Why do I want Ubuntu to know about my Facebook account anyway?
System Settings -> Online Accounts --> Facebook --> Remove Account
Hover on any extension and click manage extensions and then search postman and choose remove.
This will remove web app postman from Chrome.

If you can't see chrome extension, then click on any extension, then the extension menu opens where you can search for Postman, then click remove.

I hit the reset button and its gone now, not pretty sure if it really wiped out from my system, but its not prompting anymore.
This option is under Settings -> Show advanced settings...
