Ubuntu – How to hide unity dash “More suggestions” (NOT unity-lens-shopping)

After removing "unity-lens-shopping" remain some annoying tips from the Software Center.

To hide them, go to:

Dash Home, Search applications, Filter results, Sources and then sets to "Local Apps".

After new login, the filter is reset. To do something for real, it seems that this works fine:

gsettings set com.canonical.Unity.ApplicationsLens display-available-apps false

UPDATE:

Ubuntu 13.04 have new package called "unity-tweak-tool". Try it.

After a lot of trial and error I found out it was something (still don't know exactly what) in .cache/software-center. I think I should report it but I don't know to whom (ideas?). Anyway, if someone is interested let me know and I'll send the infamous directory. Thanks to everyone that read this :)

Ubuntu – Can the shopping lens be changed to display results from Amazon.co.uk

sudo nano /usr/share/applications/ubuntu-amazon-default.desktop

change to read

[Desktop Entry]
Name=Amazon
Type=Application
Icon=amazon-store
#Exec=unity-webapps-runner --amazon
Exec=unity-webapps-runner -d amazon.co.uk

is a basic workaround for the moment.
