So i'm facing this strange issue when watching YouTube videos on Google Chrome. There appear some horizontal lines when you hover the cursor on video as shown in screenshot. I have checked on Firefox but there is no such issue there. Any way to solve this?
Hey I had the same problem and I realized that my browser zoom was at 125%. If you bring it back to 100% then the black line goes away in full screen.
To change zoom press Ctrl+- or Ctrl++ depending on what way you need to go to get back to 100%.
One thing you can try that solved the issue for me is enabling hardware acceleration.
Here is you how you can do that:
chrome://flags in the Chrome URL bar
And it should be fixed

If you are using 20.04, Disabling the 'Use hardware acceleration when available' option works for me. Open a new tab and type the following chrome://settings/?search=hardware
Turn-off the option
Use hardware acceleration when availableand relaunch the browser. Hope this helps
