I am new to ubuntu and the last few weeks my flash player keeps crashing every time i want to watch a video. it all started when i tries to fix a problem where all of my videos were blue an strange. please help me

I would advise removing the Ubuntu Tweak PPA from your software sources by opening the Software Centre then clicking Edit->Software Sources.... Click the 'Other Software' tab then untick the Ubuntu Tweak PPA.
Close the software sources window and it should refresh your software index.
Uninstall any flash plugins you have installed then install ubuntu-restricted-extras. This should get flash working again.
In the future do not use PPAs unless you are certain of what you are doing. Note that Ubuntu Tweak is for users who know what they are doing and can mess up your system if you use it without precautions.
You can download videos from nowvideo with no addictional software
- Go to the novideo url with Google Chrome
- Open the Developer Tools CTRL + SHIFT + J
- From inside the Developer Tools open the Network panel
- Start the video from the browser window
- now in the Network panel you can see the video connection (the longest bar)
- right click on it and select "Copy link address"
open a terminal and type wget and SHIFT + INS, so that the command would be somenting like
wget http://s122.nowvideo.ch/dl/blabla/bla/blabla.flv?client=FLASH

I once had similar problems, both with blueish flash videos and flashplayer crashing.
I suggest you follow the solution offered here, namely the second or third answer from above from the community wiki.
Every single problem I ever had with flash under Ubuntu has been solved that way.
