I am trying to install a fresh version of Ubuntu in my computer without touching the windows 10 dual boot!
In the Installation Type, the first option seems exactly what i wanted to do.
My question is, is this feature is safe to use? because i don't want to lose any windows files and other NTFS partitions on the hard-disk. Please eliminate my confusion.
Note as that i dont need any files or media which are in the ubuntu partition, Thanks.
No you can't and neither you should.
The fastboot feature is called as hybrid shutdown. It can be seen as partial hibernation and partial shut down. In simple words, It takes a snapshot of current memory and stores to disk to be used on next start up. So if it is allowed to make changes to the ntfs file system by any means, on next start up win 8 won't able to know what changes were made. Because it restores from a snapshot which was made earlier. Thus leading to data corruption. To prevent this ntfs 3g driver developers made modifications that causes NTFS partitions be mountable as read-only if the driver detects a Windows system with active Fast Startup.
Your E: and F: are free of 109GB so, split any of one partition into two partitions on windows (can be done by partition manager in windows (+), free edition of AOMEI partition assistant :http://www.disk-partition.com/download-home.html) or by Gparted Live CD.
(+) when using partition manager, you need to make sure your HDD is defragmented!
Leave new partition unformatted. Then reboot and insert Linux DVD or USB (+) (burned from iso) and choose Something else option. (+) recommend Rufus :http://rufus.akeo.ie
Then choose unformatted partition on which you want to install Ubuntu. Create new of Ext4 file-system and mount point '/'
Be sure to specify the size ... say 20000mb and set to primary partition
Then Ubuntu will be installed on that partition be sure boot loader is in /dev/sda
For selection swap area use any remaining partition remaining partition and set it to logical partition, and split into two (split any one and create further 2GB is enough, but recommend double your computer's ram) format it as swap area '/SWAP'
Remaining partition should be set to FAT32 with mount point '/Windows'. This partition allows files to be accessed by BOTH operating systems.
After installing Ubuntu you can select between Ubuntu and Windows to boot at GRUB menu.

It's saying that the partition that you have created as logical, i.e,
/dev/sda7which is of type swap andthe partition
/dev/sda8of type ext4will be formatted and made clean to make space for the new installation of Ubuntu OS.
