I have a legitimate, already-activated copy of Microsoft Office 2007 Enterprise.
Both my best friend and his dad have the same copy installed on their machines as well, but they don't get this error message, only me:
I start getting it whenever I open a new document. I've clicked on the "Learn More" button, but it doesn't provide any other options than buying Microsoft Office.
Any ideas?
According to Microsoft's You receive an error message if you try to print a document:
This problem occurs because you do not have the permissions that are required to create or re-create a parsed binary printer description file (.bud).
Note The .bud file is a binary version of the generic printer description file (.gpd) that is included with many printer drivers. Additionally, the .bud file is located in the Windows\System32\Spooler\Drivers\W32x86\3 folder.
The problem that is described in this article does not occur if you have the correct permissions to the Windows\System32\Spooler\Drivers\W32x86\3 folder. The problem does not occur because the .bud file is successfully re-created the next time that the user uses the printer.
Please note that the above directory for the .bud file may be different on your x64 machine.
Evidently, Total Commander launches the document under a very restrained account. You may either give this account permission to modify the above directory, or do not launch documents from Total Commander, or use another explorer than Total Commander.
I fixed this problem relatively easily by going to to the 'Office Button' > Prepare > Edit Links to files, and selecting 'Change Source'.
I basically changed the source to a random blank Excel workbook within the same directory as the word document. After this, I carefully scanned through all Excel charts in my document. The faulty chart was caught red-handed and showed up as a blank Excel plot, as follows:
I just had to delete the chart and the link automatically broke.
SUMMARY: Break all links, find that there is one NULL source (or many) in the document, and then specify a pseudo-source Excel sheet. Only the chart with the external link shows up as a blank chart. All correctly copied charts that are clean (not linked to the external workbook) have no such issues.

I doubt anybody here at Super User has access to a Microsoft Product Activation server.
Please contact Microsoft (they are the guys with the finger on the killswitch after all :) and explain the situation to a representative. This happens quite frequently, and they're usually very helpful (IF the other installations are no longer in use; if they are, then the rule 'one installation per license' applies and you can't use it legally).
