Is it possible to make Firefox open an entire folder of bookmarks in a new window? Each bookmark in the folder would have its own tab in the new window. I know about middle-clicking to open a folder of bookmarks all at once, but as far as I can tell, that always creates the new tabs in the current window.
I know I could just open a new window and then open all the tabs, but a one-step process would just be that much easier.
If you have Chrome set up to open new windows as tabs, then you can edit the bookmarks as in the following example:
javascript:window.open("http://www.delicious.com/home");
This is an excellent workaround for your Bookmarks Bar, but note that it will break the favicon and give a blank page favicon.
PS, don't forget the quotation marks, and the semicolon!
Migrated from Chrome to Firefox and I was scared not to have my bookmarks shown on a new tab. Good lord, the same extension is available on Firefox too: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/humble-new-tab/
