Windows – Bypass Windows 10 UAC “This app has been blocked for your protection.”

Yes. When you use the slider to set UAC to "Never notify", it's not really turning UAC off - it's just turning the UAC notification level down to zero. UAC is still on and UAC events still appear in the Windows event log. If you have the slider all the way down so that you get no UAC notifications and then do a "Run this program as an administrator", UAC will still elevate the user's privileges in order to perform the action. It will just be done silently.

I solved the problem by changing the account under which the nagging applications are set to run in the scheduler.

1. Click Start, right click on Computer and choose “Manage”.
2. Click “Task Scheduler” on the left panel.
3. Expand "Task Scheduler" by clicking on the triangle.
4. Click on the "Task Scheduler Library".
5. In the window that pops up on the right, double click on the programme that causes the problem.
6. Click on "Select user and group" in the properties window that appear.
7. In the field object name, type in an administrator name.
8. Click "Check name".
9. Check the result and click OK.
10. Click OK in the properties window.
11. Repeat 5-11 for every programme that causes this problem.
