Windows 10 store error when Starting Download

Recently installed Windows 10 and am unable to install apps from the Windows Store. When I click "Install" on a game or application, "Starting download" is shown. After a few seconds, I get error code 0x80072F8F and the download stops.

I've looked online for a solution but haven't found on that works. Any idea of a fix?

Note: I have tried WSReset.exe to no avail.

The 0x80072F8F means ERROR_INTERNET_DECODING_FAILED or ERROR_WINHTTP_SECURE_FAILURE. So you have some kind of network issues. Disable your Anti- Virus suite, make sure the DNS Client and the (Windows) Firewall services run.

I'll provide an update. Suddenly, without me doing anything in particular (apart from asking this question on SuperUser!), about 10 of the apps started downloading, and installed quickly. I then tried installing some more and they hung waiting to download for an age, but eventually after an hour or so, got going and installed themselves.

So I don't know whether there is something wrong with my PC, or maybe the Windows Store is perhaps not coping with demand very well at the moment.

I understand you have already done Clear & Reset Windows Store Cache using WSReset.exe.

You could also try to Re-register Windows Store Apps :

Create a System Restore Point first, just in case
Press Windows + Q, type powershell and right-click Windows PowerShell from the results and choose Run as administrator.

In the PowerShell window, type the following command and hit Enter:

Get-AppXPackage | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

Once the command is successfully executed, close Windows PowerShell and reboot.
