I have always seen that the motherboard RAM slots are colored in pairs, but never knew what it meant. I just put the 2 RAM in, and after a few tries it always worked. But after I tried to install a third one it always throws me a blue screen of death. Is there an order how should I install RAM to the board? What do the colors mean? Do they indicate a performance boost opportunity or are they just a guide for installation?
For you memory configuration read page 1-14 of your manual, it tells you exactly which slots to use (color coded) for Single-sided or Double-sided RAM. For your configuration it will not matter which color slots you use, just put both your sticks in either the blue slots, or both your sticks in the black slots. Since you seem to have an affinity for the "lovely" color blue I would go with blue :)
Your BSOD error has nothing to do with where you are putting your RAM, but that is not to say your BOSD error is not caused by faulty RAM. To begin diagnosis of your BSOD error I would run Memtest 86+ on your sticks of RAM one at a time, and it does not matter which slot you plug a single stick into when you do this test (since you will only have one stick plugged in).
Its all about the memory timings, and using the lowest common denominator.

So first you need to find the best clock speed all chips are capable of, and the look at the SPD tab.
Mark down all of the timings of each chip. For each setting pick the highest value among the 4 chips.
Then go into the BIOS and manually set the values accordingly.
Also the voltage has to be correct.

It means that the colored pair is a dual channel set and that you should install RAM as a pair to take advantage of it.
You should install 2 of the same sticks as a matching pair on the same color slots and then another 2 that are the same in the remaining two slots.
Ideally you want to have all memory be identical in a system or else you will end up with some memory being potentially downclocked (or voltage/multiplier) to the lowest sticks specifications.
Different manufactures have in the past used different layout rules so you really need to read carefully to make sure you are installing them in the right position/order.
