Ubuntu – How to start Firefox 3.5 in fullscreen mode

I want Firefox to start in fullscreen mode and can't find any trigger that makes it do this.
Any tricks?

I'm running Ubuntu Linux.

Install the AutoHide add-on, this will allow you to use the "-fullscreen" parameter on the command-line.

You can use command line options, e.g. for a 1600x1200 resolution display use:

firefox -height 1200 -width 1600

After all I found that I can start Firefox in safe mode, which starts it with alle extensions switched off. This Mozilla knoledge base article describes how to do that for your os.

In safe mode I could see that the kiosk mode was done with the R-Kiosk add-on.
