When windows starts I see most of the processes start in normal priority. I can manually change the priority of a running process. But what I want is when a particular process starts it be automatically set to run in high priority.
How is that possible?
Ok, I found it. In the ProcessExplorer you can right click on the process, select properties. From there, select Threads Tab, it shows all the threads running inside the process with "dynamic priorities". That's what I was looking for.
Yes, it is still avaiable, but you can't access these configurations as the same way we did in the past(with Windows 7). It is still acessible via Windows 8 Task Manager , but not on the same place(on Processes tab).
Now, first of all, after opening the Task Manager(with Ctrl+Shift+Esc) you must click on "More Details" to see details of the running tasks:
Then you must go to the "Details" tab(and not to the "Processes" anymore as we usually did on windows 7). After that, right-click on the process "Name" that you want to set priority or affinity, then go to "Set Priority" or "Set Affinity" and set it as you may want:

You can start a process in high proirity in command line. Use the
startcommand.eg:-
start "Explorer" /high "C:\Windows\explorer.exe"For easy access type this into a notepad and save as file with "bat" extension. Then you only have to double click this file
