Saving “Find result window” in Notepad++

There is, using AutoHotKey. The following script will convert F7 from an open-only shortcut to a toggle; it opens it if it isn't already open, and closes it if it is.

Here is the script:

I hope this helps everyone else out there who loves Notepad++!

Edited to fix error in detection of undocked window.

Settings > Preferences > Delimiter > Add your character as part of word.

Please a hyphen '-' in this field and it will add the hyphen character as part of the word character set, and therefore highlight the entire GUID string as it accepts the hyphen as being treated as any other standard alphanumeric character.

I hope this makes sense.
