I am running an iperf test to measure bandwidth from a host iperf client to a container iperf server.Exactly 7 seconds into the test iperf gives an error & abruptly ends the test. The message says " iperf3: error – received an unknown control message" Please see the screenshot below

There is a tool called qperf that can provide you such statistics. Though, it is bound to OFED/RDMA packages.
# qperf -v xx.xx.xx.xx tcp_lat udp_lat
tcp_lat:
latency = 29.2 us
msg_rate = 34.2 K/sec
loc_cpus_used = 41 % cpus
rem_cpus_used = 11.5 % cpus
udp_lat:
latency = 24.8 us
msg_rate = 40.4 K/sec
loc_cpus_used = 34 % cpus
rem_cpus_used = 4 % cpus
I reviewed the help for IPERF and I think I got it now.
On server side:

I would still like to know if this is possible, and how to do it using TTCP? If you know the answer to this, please post it.

Your client is running iperf3 while your server is running iperf, or vice versa. Ensure both run iperf3.
