I have 4 mapped drives to a "SimpleShare" network storage device. 2 have no passwords and 2 have passwords. On Windows 7 Pro PCs, Randomly, 1 of the password protected drives loses connection. The dropped drive changes on different PCs.

yes, very simple, (but i don't know the Mapped Drive logs but this will show you where you have attached the Database MDF file)
Just follow the Attached image below.
Open the Database Manager. -> Find the Attached Database and Right Click on it -> Select Properties -> in Properties Select Files section and there you can find the attached path

and if you wanna observer the Mapped Driver Log. just Open the Registry Editor by Typing
REGEDIT.exe in your RUN and just open those trees until you find the MountPoints2
usually paths should be separated by \Server\Main Folder\Database but here it uses
Server#Main Folder#Database so you have to identify by this way as well
Start -> Run... (or just hold down the WIndows key and press "R")
Type: "regedit"
Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Network\
There you will see a list of letters representing your mapped network drives.
Right-click the one you want to change and select "Rename", type your desired new drive letter, and close Regedit.
Reboot.
Your network drive is now associated with the new drive letter.

Windows has a idle timeout for mapped drive connections; by default it's 15 minutes. This may be what you're running into.
The non-password protected drives reconnect as soon as you try to use them again (without asking for a password) so you probably don't notice they're doing it as well.
You can see how long your idle timeout is set to by opening a command prompt and typing:
