Integrating GitHub updates into a Discord channel can be done with webhook updates.

- Get the webhook URL for the server/channel you want to receive messages:
- Open the webhook settings in your GitHub repository settings (Settings > Webhooks)
Click the "Add webhook" button, and enter the Discord-generated URL in the "Payload URL" section.
To ensure the webhook displays messages properly, make sure to append '/github' at the end of your URL.
For content type, stick with application/json, then customize which kind of events trigger webhook messages.

Unfortunately, default notification settings can only be applied on a per-server basis in the current version of Discord.
One workaround is to mention @here or @everyone any time someone has an important announcement.

Add Mee6 bot to your Discord server. One of its moderator options is a !Clear command.
Alternatively, if adding bots isn't an option, you can make manual deletion a bit easier by holding down Shift. This will skip the confirmation box that usually displays when deleting messages.
