How can I extract files that I have embedded in a OneNote 2010 .one file? If there is no easy way to do that, is there a way to get a list of all of them in the notebook or section so it is easy to grab them all and dump them to disk?

A temporary solution until Microsoft fixes this bug is just to click "Clear All Formatting" (or Ctrl + Shift + N) and then continue on your work. I found that it makes the font whatever you set it to as the default. Hope this helps!
I have 2007 so I can't check 2010 for sure, but I'm going to guess you click this button,
Go to "options", and then click the "proofing" tab. This should have all the settings you need, but I think "check spelling as you type" is the one you are looking for.
