I just can't find any solution to delete the Skype chat history! There is no "Clear History" function in the mentioned version of Skype..
Anybody knows how to do it?

Yes, they do store you chat history in the cloud http://www.skype.com/intl/en/legal/privacy/general/#12
And in the old versions (not sure about the new ones), the chat only get synced when the other contact is online, i.e. at least one device with the original transcript and history must be online in order for it to be synchronised.

Look for folder
.skyperename it to something else likeskype.bak(or just delete it). Then restart Skype.You will need to re-enter your username and password. Your chat history should now be clear.
