Google-chrome – way to open an incognito tab as oppose to a incognito window in Chrome

I know I can open an incognito window using Ctrl+Shift+N. You can not combine an incognito tab with the rest of "normal tabs". Is there a method/extension that allows me to do this?

The answer is still no.

It's not possible to have an incognito tab in the same window as non-incognito tabs. During the early days (2006-7) we discussed that possibility, but it led to too many confusing scenarios where people leaked their private data by mistaking tab types, and other problems. So we ended up forcing the two to be in different windows.

Supported on:

Google Chrome (Linux, Mac, Windows) since version 14  
Google Chrome OS (Google Chrome OS) since version 0.14

Description:

Specifies whether the user may open pages in Incognito mode in Google Chrome. If 'Enabled' is selected, pages may be opened in Incognito mode. If 'Disabled' is selected, pages may not be opened in Incognito mode. If 'Forced' is selected, pages may be opened ONLY in Incognito mode. 
0 = Incognito mode available. 
1 = Incognito mode disabled. 
2 = Incognito mode forced.

If this is a work system, then the creation and maintenance of this key (and in turn the availability of the option) may be under the control of your network admin.

Google-chrome – Open previously opened tab in Chrome

There is no native way to do this, but there is an extension called RecentTabs.

You can configure it to either switch between two last tabs, or display a list of open tabs.
