Fullscreen digital clock for DOS 6.22

I came across a Dolch L-Pac 586 a few months ago. My boss was going to throw it out, but I managed to convince him to let me give it a home. Since then, I've been wracking my brains, trying to think of a clever use for it. I have been thinking that it would be really awesome to get some sort of fullscreen digital clock program and just use it for a timekeeping device / conversational piece. (It's got an extremely sharp 9" screen – absolutely zero LCD rot.)

Anybody have any idea what I could use?

An old school PC needs old school tools. Borland Turbo C was a popular early C development package. The tools have been re-released as freeware. You can download it from the Embarcadero site at http://edn.embarcadero.com/article/20841.

Windows up till before windows 95 is an operating environment - it runs on top of dos of some flavour (95 and 98 ran with dos, but once they were started, they took over a lot of functionality, and were much closer to a proper operating system. Unlike windows 3.x they were closely coupled to specific versions of dos, so no one ever thinks about it.).

You can run windows 3.x with pretty much any version of dos (except DR dos, iirc - windows actually checked for, and refused to run on it) - supposedly even freedos - see the bottom, dosbox or the ms dos start up floppy disks you can create from windows i believe. You can presumably also get access to dos with a technet subscription, assuming you need a licenced copy.
