ConEmu – running a script in the startup console

I have a script called todo that echoes a todo list to the terminal. I'd like ConEmu to run this every time it starts (thus, in the starting tab). How do I write a task to make it do that? todo is on my path.

In fact, your question does not refer to ConEmu, at all. Read your shell manual (you have not eve said what of dozen possible shells you are using). For example, cmd has "/k" switch, PowerShell has "-noexit -command" and so on...

The idea of /cmdlist was giving to user ability of starting several commands without creating exact named task. Say, this is an extra "unnamed" task, nothing more. Actually, it was created for simplifying debugging process without need of task creation ;)

The task, by-turn, is a "script" where user can show what command (Tab or Pane) must become active after startup. If you run several tasks at once - what command of what task must become active? Incomprehensible... Also, there may be a risk of infinite recursive task calling.

Docker on Conemu

In the task parameters:

/dir "C:\Program Files\Docker Toolbox"

Commands:

"%ConEmuDrive%\Program Files (x86)\Git\bin\sh.exe" --login -i -new_console:C:"C:\Program Files\Docker Toolbox\docker-quickstart-terminal.ico" "C:\Program Files\Docker Toolbox\start.sh"

Please note that I have git in Program Files (x86), and also that the -new_console parameter that references the ico is not needed. I assume you have that ico, but you can remove the whole parameter if it proves problematic, but you will be left with the Git bash icon.
