After using Grid Control to add standby database, Data Guard status of standby database is showing "Creation status unknown". However, dataguard status on both primary and standby databases are OK. Database is Oracle 11.2.0.3. The Management agent version is 12.1.0.1.
I read on the forum that I need to apply patch #9244383. However, when I apply patch, It requires agent version 10.2.0.5.
What should I do here?
Apply Lag will notify you when the apply is slow, not just when it has stopped. This may give you too many notifications, but it seems like you could tweak the threshold to limit these.

Be really, really careful when mucking around in /etc/rc.d/; this is where your startup/shutdown programs live, so removing the wrong file will put you in to a world of hurt. (Unfortunately, I can't tell you which file is the one Oracle tends to use.)
Second, Oracle's uninstall instructions always leave a lot to be desired, as does the actual process, which leaves just about everything hanging around on the file system even when it isn't necessary anymore.
For removing Grid, IIRC (that is a big IF), I think you're in the clear -- pretty much exactly what I would have done. And, as to weblogic, same deal -- I'd have run the uninstall.sh and see what happens. I suppose you could nuke the entire directory at this point so that there'd be no chance of an old file coming back to bite you, so that'd be just about the only other thing I'd do.

There's a MOSC note, and while it's specific to versions 10.2.0.1 to 10.2.0.5, maybe it worths testing.
The note states that when creating Standby using grid, there were some issues and the remaining part of its creation was done manually.
The recommendation is to remove the Standby DB from the Grid in order to clear the errors, and then rediscover the Standby DB.
