I just installed SQL Server 2016 Express and was going to add an ODBC connection to my SSRS instance. When I went to the dropdown to change the connection type from SQL Server to DB2, the only connection type available in the dropdown is SQL Server.
Anyone know how to fix this? Is this a limitation in the Express version?
Simple solution... posting for anyone else testing SQL 2016.
Do NOT supply a default SSRS Server URL during the installation process and it completes without error (Windows 2012 Datacenter and Windows 7 confirmed).

You can use SSRS 2016 and fetch data from another databases.
When you defines the connection string of data sources, you can use whatever of your installed drivers.
