I just recently bought an album on iTunes and I have a weird problem. All of the songs (18 in all) except for one, play perfectly fine. When I try to play it, it says "This computer is not authorized to play "". Would you like to authorize it?" It prompts me to sign in with my Apple ID, which I did. Then it says "This computer is already authorized." I have no clue how to fix this! I've tried the steps outlined in iTunes: Missing folder or incorrect permissions may prevent authorization and iTunes repeatedly prompts to authorize computer to play iTunes Store purchases, but neither of them work. Any suggestions?

Well, I haven't figured out what was causing the problem, but did find a way to solve it:
- Go to the my account page for your Apple ID Account and click "Change Account Information".
- Change your email address from the one you want to use to any other address (to be safe, it's probably preferable to use one you can access, but it's not crucial, as long as you can remember it easily, because you're going to change it right back.
- Once it confirms that it's changed it, go right back in and change it back to the one you started with.
This will essentially "clear" the previous verification for the address, eliminating the disconnect where itunes wants you to verify, but you can't, because all the other apple clients know that you already have. You'll get a fresh verification email, and (at least in my case) you'll be back in business.
This is a widely-reported bug in some App Store installers. It sees the iTunesHelper process and displays this error, even though that process is not controlled by the user.
You can open Activity Monitor (in /Applications/Utilities), find the process and kill it with the Quit Process button in the top-left corner.
You can also instead open Terminal (also in /Applications/Utilities), enter the following line and press enter to kill it.
killall iTunesHelper

In the end, deleting all the offending track and re-downloading it was the only thing that worked. Why I didn't think about this at first, I don't know, but it worked!
