I'm having difficulty finding a promising OS X app for connecting to and visualizing data which resides in a MySQL database; it seems like there are various options for Windows, but not so much for Apple?
I'm hoping however that there are some gems that I just haven't discovered yet
I would like to be able to publish these charts to the web; I have heard of people using Excel for this, but I don't own Excel for Mac and I'm not sure if the same abilities are present in the Mac version of it

OpenOffice and derivatives like LibreOffice and NeoOffice can connect to a MySQL DB using ODBC; and, once the connection is established, the spreadsheet component can use it as a data source.
