iTunes – Syncing iTunes U between 2 Macs via an iPod Touch

Is it possible to download lectures (from iTunes U) with iTunes on Mac A, sync an iPod to Mac A, then carry that iPod to Mac B, and finally watch them on Mac B?

That's what I have been doing with my previous iPod (not an iPod Touch) because it allows me to use it as a USB hard drive. Now that I'm using an iPod Touch (which doesn't allow me to see what's inside), I wonder if I can use syncing to do the same job.

It won't let you sync, but you should be able to connect the iPod touch to Mac B and still see the iPod under devices in iTunes. If you hit the expansion triangle (twistie? whatever it's called) it should show you the playlists on that iPod and let you play them through iTunes.
