Purpose of RelayUploader Process in macOS

Alright these are the olden goldies for fixing stuff like that:

1) Repair Permissions:

This is often a bit of a sacrificial chicken but in this case it could very well be that something has caused the permissions on the login database or an associated file to end up corrupted.

2) Verify the disk: It's unlikely to be a disk problem but whilst you're in there you might as well clear that off.

If they don't do the trick once you're logged back in go to Console in Utilities and post the log files up here, there might be some useful information in them.

It's not a super common process name (in my experience at least), so in case no one has a laser-guided answer, some ways to narrow it down:

ps auxww | grep -i collision
sudo fs_usage -w collision
sudo lsof | grep -i collision

This will show details about where the binary is located on the filesystem, show you in real time the files that process is accessing, and lastly list all open files that the program has.

Hopefully there are some bread crumbs you can follow and you don't have to use locate collision or mdfind collision to trawl the filesystem to locate the executable file.
