Setting Up Corsair Vengeance K70 Key Bindings on MacOS

I recently purchased a Corsair Vengeance K70 and am trying to get set the ctrl windows alt keys to match the ones on a mac keyboard, control option(alt) command. Currently the windows key acts like command.

So far I've tried setting the key bindings by going to System Preferences -> Modifier Keys -> Corsair K70R Gaming Keyboard and testing different configurations of key settings though this appeared to have no effect.

I also attempted switching the BIOS switch on the keyboard though that seemed to have no effect.

Any suggestions?

Update: By opening the on screen keyboard I can confirm that the problem is that the windows key is synced with the alt key and command with window so I need a reliable way to switch those.

The following worked for me:

Open System Preferences --> Keyboard --> Modifier Keys
Select the Corsair Vengeance K70 from the Select Keyboard pulldown list
Setup your mappings - for me I remapped
Ctrl Lock to Control
Option to Command
Command to Option
Close the Keyboard System Preferences
Restart the computer (I believe that you can also just close the Preferences unplug the keyboard instead of restart)

After a restart everything worked as expected on Mavericks

Generally the keyboard shortcuts you are used to will rely on the command key. One nice thing about a lot of Mac OS X menus is they will list the shortcut next to the command in question, and you can type the name of the command in the help menu when using the application in question, hover or use the arrow keys to select the menu item options that appear, and see the keyboard shortcuts.

CMD Tab is application switching, CMD C is copy, CMD V is paste, CMD Space is spotlight, swipe up with four fingers is the launcher iirc.

Also if you are in the Finder, you can click help and type shortcuts, there are lists upon lists for various tasks.

Did you select the keyboard from the menu at the top? (Edit: it is not shown if there is only one keyboard.)

If you have installed keyboard or HID drivers, try removing them.

You could also try deleting ~/Library/Preferences/ByHost/.GlobalPreferences.*.plist.

Another way to change the modifier keys is to use KeyRemap4MacBook:
