sometimes when i login facebook the profile picture icons just won't load. I tried reseting safari, nothing. When i use chrome everything is ok. I googled it and someone said something about deleting a cache file but i could not find in library the safari cache file (i have no idea what it means, i guess some of you will understand).
I have the safari Version 7.0.2 (9537.74.9) and OS X 10.9.2. Anyone got an idea of how to fix it? Thank you in advance
It could be that there's a DNS problem somewhere. Web browsing tends to involve a lot of small connections, with several DNS lookups just for one page, whereas large file downloads only need to make one lookup. So if there's an issue with your ISP's DNS servers, it could be slowing down your web browsing without affecting your large transfer speeds.
Try switching your DNS to use the Google Public DNS servers. Open up the Network pane in System Preferences, select your wifi and click Advanced…. Then go to the DNS tab, and enter in 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4, as shown in the screencap:
Make sure those entries are above anything else in there.
It may be another issue, but this is a good starting point.

Quit Google Chrome completely.
Go to the Go menu > Go to Folder.
Enter the following directories in the text field, then press Go. ~/Library/Application Support/Google/Chrome/
Locate the folder called "Default" in the directory window that opens and rename it as "Backup default."
Try opening Google Chrome again. A new "Default" folder is automatically created as you start using the browser.
Alternatively you can "teach" your browser.
That is done by adding the :80 to the web address.
Example www.myseite.com:80
Also run the netstat -a -p tcp to see if https (443) are open)
Last not least, turn off the experimental "Built-in Asynchronous DNS" is Disabled in chrome://flags/

To empty the Safari caches, first you need to have the Develop menu displayed in the menu bar (Preferences | Advanced | Show Develop menu in menu bar). Then on the Develop menu, click on Empty Caches.
You can also use the keyboard shortcut: option+cmd+e.
