Is there a way to get iPhoto back after installing Photos? When I upgraded to Yosemite 10.10.3, it installed Photos. I am not really liking the format or the design.

CleanMyMac 2 has an iPhoto Cleanup feature. It will scan your library and give you the ability to delete photos that have been cropped, resized, rotated, or otherwise edited.
By default, it will delete the photos that have been rotated and/or with fixed Red-Eye, however you can also choose to delete the originals of any photos that have been edited in any way.
I have used this multiple times, and it's worked great, although it's worth noting that in the Rebuilding Library stage, it might appear that it's crashed, but it's still going - it does take a very long time!
OK. Please follow those steps : Open IPhoto 9.5.1 while pressing the "alt" key. Select "New". Name it Iphoto Library 2 for exemple. Press Enter, let IPhoto open.
Now, go into your Pictures folder. Find the IPhoto Library. Click right onto it, choose "Show packets".
Find the "Masters" Folder. Drag it with your mouse and drop it inside the IPhoto's window. The bloody app should now import all your photos.
Quit IPhoto. You can now delete the old IPhoto Library and rename your new IPhoto Library 2 into IPhoto Library.

iPhoto is a separate application from Photos (though if you had iPhoto on your dock, the 10.10.3 upgrade replaced its icon with Photos). You can still run it by using Spotlight or going to your Applications folder.
When you do run it, it may ask if you actually meant to open it, or if you meant to open Photos - choose the option to continue opening iPhoto. Your iPhoto library is still there and has not been removed. Keep in mind any changes made to your iPhoto library will not be reflected in Photos, so if you decide later that you do want to use Photos, you will need to create a new library in Photos to convert your iPhoto library at that time.
