I have a Kensington Expert Mouse on the Mac running the latest 1.3 drivers.
There still is no option to use the trackball to in addition to scroll vertically also scroll horizontally. Similar to the ball on the mighty mouse.
Has anyone found a hidden setting that I could enable with the defaults write command?

Depending on what hardware you have connected, the mouse pane, the magic mouse version of the mouse pane and the trackpad preferences all have a toggle to show if "Natural Scrolling" is enabled or disabled.
If you want your finger moving up on the mouse wheel to move the scroll thumb up (and the document down) just like Snow Leopard, then un-check the box to the left of Move content in the direction of finger movement when scrolling or navigating
If you have other pointing devices (and those reading along at home), hop over to confirm that one setting governs direction on the Mighty Mouse, the Magic Mouse and Trackpad preferences - scroll direction carries over to all input sources.
I resolved this by uninstalling the Intellipoint Software (using the provided uninstaller) , rebooting (as requested by the uninstaller), reinstalling, and rebooting (as requested by the installer). I suspect something went wrong in my prior in-place upgrade of the Intellipoint Software. I did lose my Intellipoint settings, but I had made note of them prior to uninstalling.

The old driver used to have an option to set a button (or button combination) to 'change scroll direction'. I used to use that all the time and they have since gotten rid of it.
The workaround I've been able to come up with is to program a button to simply type the shift key (I use the two bottom button combination). It's not as nice, but then you can hold the button(s) and scroll in the opposite direction without using your second hand.
