MacOS – Does Homebrew get removed after upgrading Mac OS

Do you have several versions of Node installed via homebrew? Every time it updates node homebrew puts the newest version alongside the old one and then updates the symlinks to the newest version. Running the brew cleanup should reduce that up a bit for you.

brew update

Updates the Homebrew installation. If there are any errors, they should be reported by brew doctor. Try fixing them else, you could use the uninstall script as follows:

And install homebrew again. Am pretty sure all this is configurable using puppet.
