In the Keyboard Shortcuts preference pane, this is the one shortcut that can't be disabled. It's disabled if you turn off Chinese keyboard input, but I want to keep the keyboard input.
I got hopeful when I found this technique for editing the symbolic hotkeys plist:

But I haven't been able to find a symbol corresponding to this shortcut.
You'll notice that the shortcuts only appear when you're using Chinese input methods. They don't appear otherwise per this article from Apple's knowledgebase.
I can't find any way around this limitation. However, there is a built-in keyboard shortcut for switching between keyboard layouts, if not for switching to a specific keyboard layout. You can find this shortcut in System Preferences -> Keyboard -> Keyboard & Text Input:
@chrisKnadler made a good point of using Applescript to do this.
I have used this before in the past but discounted it because of the new problem in Mavericks of preference being cached system wide.
Meaning you could only use the unix command
defaults write...
to get the results to actually change instead of manually changing them or using Applescript plist item commands.
But just now having a look around found a suggestion that you can simply flush the cache and initiate a the system to read the preference again by just calling a
defaults read ...
on the plist file you have change. This does indeed seem to work.

You may still need to quite individual apps for them to show the change ( as is normal)
UPDATE: Small change.
Added > /dev/null to the end of the defaults command so only errors are returned.

I couldn't find a way to disable it either, but if you click on the shortcut key combination, you can change it to something you'll never press. (I used shift-control-option-command-space)
