I get this error message every time I login (after recently updated to Catalina).
The installed version of FUSE is too old for the operating system. Please upgrade your FUSE installation to one that is compatible with the currently running version of macOS.
Can't find it to uninstall it. I've done searches everywhere.

If, after installing Java for OS X 2014-001 and the latest version of Java 7 from Oracle, you want to disable Java 7 and re-enable the Apple-provided Java SE 6 web plug-in and Web Start functionality, follow these steps.
Note: You must be logged in as an administrator. If prompted for your administrator password after a command, enter it and then press the Return or Enter key.
Enter this command, then press the Return or Enter key:
sudo mkdir -p /Library/Internet\ Plug-Ins/disabled
Enter this command, then press the Return or Enter key:
sudo mv /Library/Internet\ Plug-Ins/JavaAppletPlugin.plugin /Library/Internet\ Plug-Ins/disabled
Enter this command, then press the Return or Enter key:
sudo ln -sf /System/Library/Java/Support/Deploy.bundle/Contents/Resources/JavaPlugin2_NPAPI.plugin /Library/Internet\ Plug-Ins/JavaAppletPlugin.plugin
To re-enable Java SE 6 Web Start, enter this command, then press the Return or Enter key:
sudo ln -sf /System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/Commands/javaws /usr/bin/javaws

Disable Java SE 6 Web Start opening:
Enter this command, then press the Return or Enter key:
sudo ln -sf /System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/Versions/Current/Commands/javaws /usr/bin/javaws
Re-enable the Java 7 applet plug-in by downloading and reinstalling the latest version of Oracle Java 7 JRE.
If you are not aware of any app needing FUSE you can remove it. You should see an icon in System Preferences for FUSE. You can remove or update from there:

It is likely that you normally uninstall applications by dragging and dropping their icons to the Trash. In the case with the FUSE software program, you will not find its icon in the Applications folder, as FUSE is a type of extension. You will find its icon in the System Preferences window. However, it also consists of numerous user-space libraries and tools, which should be removed as well.
Open System Preferences and click on the FUSE icon.
In the window that appears, untick Show Beta Versions to prevent leaving the remaining files of the FUSE preference pane after its deletion. Then, click on the Remove FUSE button.
Within the System Preferences, make a right-click on the FUSE icon and select Remove “FUSE” Preference Pane.
As you know, every application creates plenty of service files.It is very likely that some types of files were not deleted with the Remove FUSE button. Usually, the service files of applications are stored in the user’s Library folder. To get access to this folder, open Finder → in the menu bar, click Go → Go to Folder → in the window that appears, type ~/Library and click Go. Within the user’s Library folder, find and delete unneeded files, related to FUSE in the following directories:
~/Library/Caches
Also, I recommend that you check other subfolders in the Library folder. If you find files related to FUSE, remove them to Trash.

~/Library/Preferences
~/Library/Application Support
