I am using Epichrome to have multiple Chrome browsers at the same time. I have three browsers that I made with Epichrome, but each time I open one of them, it gives this warning:
I am using MacOS Catalina (10.15.2) on my MacBook Pro, and the browser I made using Epichrome is called 'Duolingo'.
Does anyone know a fix for this, if not why it is there?
The first step in narrowing this down is to look at the crash log and the event log in Console.app (under /Applications/Utilities) to look for relevant error messages.
Usually it is a dns related error, but if that doesn't work, then run the network diagnostics to make sure it isn't just a web browser issue.
Chrome does not consume more energy than the other browsers in this test.
I just ran a comparison.
The set up was to have same amount of demand.
Three tabs were open, one tab streaming online video in both, Chrome and Firefox (I do not use Safari).
In Energy consumption profile below, Chrome was equal to Firefox.
Of course the Energy consumption is very much dependent on the particular web site.

I've occasionally seen this myself, but I've never had it happen every time I launch an Epichrome app. The first thing I'd try is this:
